Are they safe? 
Yes - we feel they are very safe to use - flameproof tissue construction and fuel cells that self extinglish, the lantern will drop to earth slowly. 

Do I need a license to use or store these? 
No they can be used or stored by anyone without license. 

How long does delivery take? 
All orders are dispatched once payment has been processed, for larger bulk orders or custom designs there may be a lead time for production. 

Can my child use these? 
We would recommend they be launched by children only under strict supervision. It is the responsibility of the adult to ensure the safety and suitability of the launch. 

Where can I light them? 
Do not use Sky Lanterns near airports, power lines, petrol stations, hazardous storage, dry crops or areas where the ground is likely to set fire very easily. 

Do they work in the rain? 
Unfortunately Sky Lanterns do not work in the rain - they work best on a calm night where the air temperature is low. The hotter the outside temperature the slower they rise.

How long before I receive my Sky Lanterns? 
PartyLantern.co.uk aims to post your order by the next working day once payment is received:

UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail and take 2-3 days.
European orders will be sent by Air Mail and take 4 working days.
US orders will be sent by Air Mail and 6 working days.

Are Sky Lanterns easy to release yourself? 
Yes, they arrive to you in a flat packed box, ready to be ignited and released. 
There is no need to add additional fuel or an accelerant before lighting the lantern wick. 
All Sky Lantern boxes contain release and safety instructions. Sky Lanterns are simple to release and do not require the use of any special equipment.
